These documents are all related to Christian teachings and doctrine. I have done my best to study to show myself approved and to accurately interpret scripture. If you do not agree with a particular teaching or doctrine, please leave a comment with specifics as to what you don't agree with and why, and let's discuss. Thank you.
There are many who want to add criteria to salvation. You need to be baptized or you need to speak in tongues or you need to constantly do good works and if you die while sinning you are going to Hell. So much judgment amongst Christians who were told not to judge but to forgive. So what is the criteria for salvation? This document presents all the scriptures from 1 Kings through Revelation that tell us exactly what is needed for salvation from Hell and the Lake of Fire.
I've been seeing a lot of people stating that you must not sin ever and always do good works to be saved; basing salvation on a person's actions. This document is based on a conversation I had with one such individual. Grace through Faith saves. Good works and avoiding sin are the byproducts of salvation.
We, in general, love to make everything so complicated. Jesus, however, made it so simple. Yet even we Christians tend to make it more complicated than it really is. During my prayers this morning, this is what the Lord revealed to me.
Keys To Power is a sermons series I developed over several decades. God is in control of all things, but what exactly are WE supposed to do? If He controls our lives, are we then expected to simply let go and do nothing? Are we just meant to let go and let God do everything for us?
The answer is "No." We were created to rule the Earth. But if that's true, what can WE do to gain power and authority in our lives, over our circumstances, etc.? Keys to Power provides practical actions you as a believer can take that will help you co-rule your life with God and others; just as He always intended.
The How To Forgive series deals with the question, "But what is forgiveness exactly? I mean, Christians talk about it a lot because the Bible talks about it a lot, especially in the New Testament. So what is it?" Find out also what Sin is and what Repentance is. And more importantly, how can we apply this knowledge in our lives.
Many people have mistakenly claimed that the Bible, and therefore God, is sexist. They misquote various scriptures and use them to support such claims. This document provides explanations for these often misquoted passages based on my own personal research into their true and accurate meanings.
There are so many who are arguing that the Bible does not denounce evolution and/or that the Bible does support the concept that God created all things over eons of time - basically longer than 6 literal 24-hour days. They try to fit the Bible's account in with evolution and/or the idea that the world and universe are, in fact, millions or billions of years old. But is this true? Does the Bible denounce evolution and an Old Earth or does it, in fact, support it? This document's intent is to show you exactly what the Bible says in regards to both.
In this lesson series, I endeavor to explain the Trinity of God and the trinity of man. Essentially, we are made in God's Image and Likeness. Therefore, if the Bible tells us that we are Body, Soul, and Spirit, God must also be Body, Soul, and Spirit. We see this clearly in scripture. God is the Son - the Word of God and express Image of the fullness of the Godhead bodily - as well as the Father and the Holy Spirit. In other words, even as He is a Trinity, so are we.
To assist in our understanding, I have provided as many scriptures as I could find, giving you the Hebrew and Greek translations for each of these "elements" of the Trinity. In Hebrew, they are the Leb, the Nephesh, and the Ruwach, and in Greek they are the Sarx, the Psuche, and the Pneuma. See how these words fit more accurately within our English translations so that you can understand what the Bible actually teaches in regards to who God really is - the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit.
John 18:38: Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?”
Ah, this is the universal question, isn’t it? Who is telling you the truth in regards to where all things came from and where we go when we die? And isn’t this actually the most important question in life? After all, death is certain. No matter what you believe, we all have to face the reality that we will die someday - and we will likely not know when and where that will happen.
So how do we REALLY know what the truth is? CAN we really know what the truth is? Let's examine Atheism and the Top 20 Religions in the world today to see if we can truly determine what IS the One Truth.
Note: This is a long series, so it will take me some time to edit and publish the entire document. I will update it regularly as I am able.
Hebrews 10:26-27 teaches us that "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries."
Should a sinner serve in ministry? If so, where do you draw the line? And if a church only allows non-sinners to serve, would anyone serve? What is the criteria for eligibility to serve in ministry?
Galatians 5 teaches us how we should behave if we are walking in the Spirit of God versus how we will behave if we are walking according to the ways of the Flesh. So, the question is, when you are posting, having conversations, or commenting out on Facebook and other social media, are you behaving according to the Spirit of God, and thus furthering the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or are you actually behaving according to the Flesh, and thus hindering the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
You may THINK you're doing good, and you may have convinced yourself that your methods are what God wants you to do, but if you aren't actually behaving according to the Spirit, it doesn't matter what you THINK is good. You are hindering the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and you may even be displaying signs that you aren't even saved yourself!
